Better Late Than Never

This collection of ten spreads wasnt ever made into a print edition, at one point I was selling it as a downloadable pdf. The work itself is a series of digitally collaged tableaus that were drawn with various mixed media.

Pot Luck

The Pot Luck collection isn't a series of work unto itself, but a representation of different works created over a 15 year period.

iPhone Drawings

The iPhone series emerged from a desire to create while navigating the constraints of time and limited studio access. Using photo-editing tools, I draw directly onto photographs taken during my daily movements through Los Angeles County. These works reframe the city's scenes, capturing my anxiety-ridden fascination with the vastness of L.A.

Exhaust

This series of drawings explores the layers of exhaustion: the literal fumes of Los Angeles traffic, the creative fatigue of a recurring design motif, and the physical and emotional wear of life in the city. The work is centered on the motif of stacked, fallen palm fronds, rendered in a limited color palette that evokes the threat of wildfires and the relentless pursuit of success in L.A. Each piece is created with pen, sumi ink, and colored pencil on Arches watercolor paper (approx. 24" x 24").

Textile Design

None of these works are for sale. They are examples of limited edition textile collections that are sold out. This page is mostly to show how my drawings can be used for textile design.
